Nyepi is a Hindu holy day in Bali. On this day Bali would be complete silence and darkness, there fore it is called the silent day. This is because in this day the people of Bali are not doing activities. They lived in the house and also did not turn on the lights. Even the airport was closed.
Nyepi is celebrated once a year and the beginning of a new year of Saka. This year is Saka 1932.
